At the intersection of music, technology, and education, you’ll find Logan Lowery—a creator whose story is rooted in resilience, curiosity, and a deep belief in the power of collaboration. As the founder of Pizza Box Media, LLC, Logan is reimagining how music is taught, learned, and shared, all while staying grounded in community and connection.
Originally from Birmingham, Alabama and now calling Lebanon, Tennessee home, Logan brings both the heart of an artist and the mind of an innovator to everything he builds. His work reflects a simple but powerful idea: creativity flourishes best when people are empowered, supported, and invited to create together.
A Creator’s Origin Story

Pizza Box Media began in October 2023—not in a boardroom, but during recovery from a life-altering accident. After breaking both legs in a work accident, Logan found himself with unexpected time and a flood of ideas. Grabbing the nearest thing—a Sharpie and a pizza box—he wrote them down on the lid.
That pizza box lid is now framed on his office wall.
A reminder that creativity often begins in unlikely places—and that even in stillness, something meaningful can be built.
Augmenting Creativity Through Technology
What began as ideas sketched on a pizza box has grown into a mission-driven company rooted in the belief that technology, when used thoughtfully, can expand—not replace—human creativity.
“Pizza Box Media exists to augment human creativity through technology and education.”

That mission comes to life through several avenues—most notably Practice Room, a software platform designed specifically for music educators and their students. In addition to developing software, Logan teaches music lessons, offers music career preparation, works in music production, and provides web support to small schools and local businesses using the company’s expertise in design, software, and education. Practice Room wasn’t created in theory—it was built from lived experience.
“We built Practice Room as a tool for music educators while we use it ourselves to teach music. The next step is getting the software into the hands of others.”
Rooted in the Arts, Wherever Home Is
Logan’s involvement in the arts began long before Pizza Box Media ever had a name. While earning his MBA at Cumberland University from 2023–2024, he began teaching music lessons locally in Lebanon. But his creative roots stretch back to Birmingham, where he was deeply involved as a gigging musician, music student, and participant in both professional and community theater.
When Logan moved to Lebanon to marry his wife, Haley, continuing that artistic engagement was non-negotiable.
“I knew that I wanted to continue my involvement in the arts community as both a business person and an artist.”
His inspirations are many—parents, mentors, friends, educators, and industry greats—all contributing to the spark that continues to drive his creative work today.

Creating Together, Not in Isolation
That philosophy shapes how he views community, collaboration, and the arts as a whole. For him, the arts are essential to a thriving community—not exclusive, not cliquish, but connective. Logan’s perspective on the role of art in community was shaped in part by recovery from a serious accident—a season that reinforced a powerful truth.
“We are not meant to be islands. Creating does and should bring people together. The arts is one of those things that livens a community and makes it stronger.”
For Logan, creativity is never a solitary act—it’s relational, vulnerable, and deeply human.
“When we create we are engaging in something that is both beyond ourselves and an intimate part of ourselves. No matter what I’m doing, I hope to always be creating. Doing this with other people is one of my greatest joys, honors, and passions.”
Building Space for Collaboration
Looking ahead, Logan sees his role as an arts ambassador growing through intentional spaces for gathering, learning, and collaboration.
“I want to create a space where people can gather to create, learn, and build each other up through networking and community support.”
At this stage, his focus is on sustainably scaling what he’s already doing—working with educational institutions, collaborating with other creatives, and participating fully in the creative process alongside them.

In the coming years, Logan hopes to expand collaboration in several key ways:
Getting Practice Room into the hands of more music educators
Teaching music career preparation
Collaborating in music production and composition with other creatives and organizations
While scaling the software is a foundational goal, his deeper desire is continued engagement with the Wilson County community—as a trusted resource for creativity, education, and business support.
When asked about dream partnerships, Logan’s vision stretches both locally and nationally.
“I’d love to partner with some industry giants in the music education world around Nashville such as Blackbird or Dark Horse.”
Equally important to him is identifying like-minded creatives to make music with—collaboration as both work and joy.
Empowering Creatives Through Practice Room
At its heart, Pizza Box Media exists to build people up.
“Our goal is to build up musicians, creatives, and students.”
Through hands-on experiences, real-world application, and creative guidance, Logan and his collaborators aim to expand the tool belts of those they work with—empowering them with confidence, perspective, and practical knowledge.
Practice Room plays a central role in that mission by addressing a gap in modern music education.
“Digital tools aren’t optional anymore when it comes to being a modern musician, but so often we forget to teach those tools as young musicians are coming up.”
By integrating a Digital Audio Workstation directly into music education, Practice Room offers meaningful digital literacy in a way that feels natural, creative, and accessible.
Lessons Learned Along the Way
One of the most unexpected lessons Logan has learned is the importance of steadiness.

“When it comes to ideas I am excitable and motivated, but that only carries you so far once the exhaustion, the burnout, and the discouragement roll around.”
Remaining intentional and keeping the long-term vision in focus has been invaluable. He’s also come to understand that value isn’t always measured in dollars.
“Experience, relationships, the act of creating, freedom, flexibility—these are things that hold value.”
If Pizza Box Media Had a Soundtrack
Every creative venture has a rhythm, and for Logan, it sounds something like this:
“Don’t Worry Be Happy” – Bobby McFerrin
“Wildflowers” – Tom Petty
“Going to California” – Led Zeppelin
“I hope that we communicate sincerity, investment, eagerness, warmth, and a bit of quirkiness in what we do on a daily basis.”
