Leading with Grace: An Interview with Jenna Jones of Belamour Ballet Dance Academy

“At BBDA, we train up life leaders.” – Jenna Jones

For this week’s Friday Feature, the Created to Create Coalition is honored to spotlight

Jenna Jones, founder of Belamour Ballet Dance Academy (BBDA) and Belamour Production Ministries.

With a unique mission to merge classical dance with leadership and discipleship, Jenna is helping raise up not only skilled dancers but also grounded leaders of character and faith.

A Foundation in Faith and Leadership

At the core of Belamour Ballet Dance Academy is a guiding principle: training life leaders through dance.

“That means that we teach leadership and character development curriculums through classical dance technique, and we do that without compromising any of our founding Biblical principles.”

Through Belamour Production Ministries, students experience hands-on learning opportunities that allow them to live out their training while spreading the Gospel through dance. For Jenna, this blend of artistry, faith, and leadership is deeply rewarding:

“It allows our students and our company members the space to healthily practice their leadership training, and it’s a very rewarding experience in discipleship.”

Impact Beyond the Studio

As both a leadership academy and a local community influencer, BBDA takes its role seriously.

“We get to tangibly meet the kids in many different ways and their families and tangibly meet the need of the community through the community outreach programs that we have.”

BBDA not only invests in its own students but also extends support through sponsorships and scholarships—not just for artistic education but for academic opportunities as well. For Jenna and her team, it’s about sharing the love of God and helping each student and family member discover who they are in Christ.

Giving Back Through Service

The spirit of service runs deep at Belamour. Each year, staff and student leaders organize meaningful outreach projects, from collecting goods for nonprofits to feeding unhoused neighbors in partnership with local organizations.

They also bring joy to the elderly, raise funds to pay off Wilson County overdue lunch accounts, and look for new ways to serve the community.

“Belamour is just getting started. There’s a lot in the works that I am very excited about!” – Jenna Jones

A Vision for the Future

This December, Belamour Production Ministries will premiere an original Christmas production—written and composed by Jenna and collaborators from BBDA. The hope is for it to become a cherished local tradition, uniting the artistic community and sharing the message of Christ’s love.

In addition, Belamour is building exciting partnerships with local businesses and dance programs, strengthening ties across Wilson County and beyond.

Collaboration at the Core

Belamour Ballet thrives on collaboration. Their programs extend into schools where dance is offered as a completely free physical education class. They have also partnered with local studios and programs to strengthen technique and enrich productions.

Perhaps one of the most exciting developments is a collaboration with the Scott-Ellis School of Irish Dance, working to launch a satellite program right here in Lebanon, Tennessee at BBDA.

Words to Carry Forward

Jenna’s heart for discipleship, leadership, and community shines in everything Belamour Ballet Dance Academy does. She leaves us with this charge:

“Like I said, we’re always looking for more ways to give back to the community, be a positive influence, really walk out that leadership tangibly and practically in our community and training up our academy students doing the same.”
